MISCOR Group Names Mike White Product Line Manager – Wind Power Services for Magnetech Industrial Services

SOUTH BEND, Ind., Sept. 3, 2008 –- Industrial services provider MISCOR Group, Ltd. (OTC BB: MIGL) today announced it has named Mike White as Product Line Manger - Wind Power Services for Magnetech Industrial Services, which is a unit of MISCOR’s industry-leading Repair, Remanufacturing and Manufacturing Division (RRM). White brings more than 15 years of experience in engineering, management and sales to his new role with Magnetech Industrial Services.


White was most recently with GE Transportation’s Wind Power Group, where he served as Product Manager for aftermarket Wind Power Products and Services, a wind power group unit focused on up-tower and factory repair of turbine drive-train components. In this capacity, white developed and implemented a number of management and engineering-focused programs while rolling out GE Transportation’s field service program for Wind Power. Previously, White served as a senior application engineer for Advanced Application Development/Wind Energy with The Timken Company, where he also led an engineering team focused on ultra-large wind bearing manufacturing and performed extensive wind turbine application analyses to increase turbine performance.


White began his career with the United States Navy as a nuclear technician/operator on the submarine USS Augusta, managed a division of 16 mechanical technicians in the operation and maintenance of the fast attacks sub’s nuclear reactor plant.

In addition, the strong leadership skills he honed while an officer in the Navy make him a welcome addition to our leadership team,” said Bernie DeWees, President of Magnetech Industrial Services.


In his new role with Magnetech Industrial Services, White will be responsible for managing the field service operations including for all wind power related equipment, on-site and in-shop repairs. He will also be involved in further developing the company’s 3-D Asset Management System for the wind power industry, and developing new tools and techniques to accelerate the use of predictive and preventative maintenance processes.

White holds bachelor degrees of science in mechanical and materials engineering from the University of Connecticut.

Merrill Eisenhower Atwater Joins Ideal Fleet Solutions

merrill_headshot.JPGKansas City, MO, Sept. 3, 2008 — Merrill Eisenhower Atwater, the great-grandson of President Dwight D. Eisenhower, with six years experience in the transportation arena, has been named the research and development manager of Ideal Fleet Solutions, Inc.


Ideal Fleet Solutions provides innovative, energy-efficient, and cost-reducing solutions for small, medium and large fleets with a focus on greener, cleaner-burning engines. Atwater joins Ideal Fleet Solutions from Econolite, a transportation infrastructure company where he traveled and promoted VII Vehicle Infrastructure Integration. Merrill’s experience with researching and consulting on “green dollars” available for companies to restructure their fleets will definitely be an asset to Ideal.


During 2006, Merrill traveled with the American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials (AASHTO) to promote the 87th anniversary of the 1919 convoy, the first transcontinental convoy using motor vehicles, and the 50th anniversary of the Highway system designed and built by his great grandfather, President Eisenhower, in 1956.


Following in his great-grandfather’s military footsteps, Merrill attended Valley Forge Military Academy and College where he graduated high school as a 5th caption, the highest rank that a high school senior could obtain. Following high school, he earned his Bachelor’s of Science degree in European History and Interpersonal Communications from Missouri Western State University, where he was active in Student Government and served on the Student Body Senate.
